hamster wouldn't even be able to taste it! But the thing is...

Chocolate is actually
TOXIC to hamsters (a fact that has been burned into my mind since) but
a piece small enough to only get a typical hamster sick could easily
kill a dwarf hamster. In fact, there are many 'normal' foods
that are perfectly fine for regular hamsters but would make a dwarf
hamster downright ill.
